Beacon is a 4-5 year old special needs Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. He came to our hospital from the shelter because he lost the feeling of his hind end, and they were going to put him to sleep. I decided to save him and try to rehabilitate him. After trying acupuncture and different medications we have been able to rehabilitate him, but not fully. He is still a little wobbly in his back end and he has no control of his bladder or bowels.

He is a very sweet and fun loving dog when he gets to know you. He is kind of cautious at first but he always loves to play with his toys and give lots of kisses. He loves going to the park and running around. Beacon needs someone that is going to be able to be home with him a lot and give him love and attention often.
