Approx Age: 5-6 years
When Daisy's owner moved out of state a year ago, she left Daisy and a sibling outside in care of neighbors with whom she kept in contact. Upon learning that the cats' health was deteriorating, she turned to Dusty Paws Rescue for help. Dusty Paws took both cats into foster care.
Daisy is a medium-furred tuxedo cat, 5-6 years old. In a foster home since July 2018, she is doing well. She has gained her weight back and her fur coat is soft and fluffy again. She is spayed and vaccinated and has tested negative for both FIV and FeLV
After being outside so long, Daisy seems happy to be indoors. By the 3rd week after rescue, she was interacting more and more with her new human friend. She enjoys being petted and is becoming a lap cat. She has a cute little meow and wonderfully loud purr.
Daisy is good in the home and doesn't seem to get anxious from being left alone all day while her foster mom is at work. She is litter box trained and happy to be the only pet in the house. With youthful energy, she jumps well without knocking things over and would like to play more. Still petite at 8 1/2 lbs., Daisy is described by her foster mom as "a little cat with a lot of personality."
